Humanewashing is a term used to describe the marketing tactics used by some meat, egg, and dairy companies to deceive consumers into believing that their products are produced in a humane manner. These tactics can include the use of misleading labels, packaging, and advertising that promote the illusion of animal well-being while hiding the reality of the animals’ suffering.
