Mass pilot whale stranding in Western Australia (video)

Summary

At least 84 pilot whales have stranded themselves on the shore off Western Australia's southern coast near Cheynes Beach, east of Albany. Wildlife authorities have initiated an emergency response effort to save them. This is not the first instance of such an event, as similar mass beachings occurred in Australia in 2022 and 2018 involving pilot whales.
