Chris Packham

Chris Packham is a well-known British naturalist, television presenter, photographer, and writer. He was born on May 4th, 1961, in Southampton, England. Chris has become famous for his passion for nature and wildlife conservation, as well as his advocacy for animal welfare.

Packham has been involved in numerous wildlife documentaries, including "Springwatch," "Autumnwatch," "The Really Wild Show," and "Wild Night In," among others. He has also presented several radio programs on nature, including "Nature's Voice" and "The Living World." His television work has earned him numerous awards, including a BAFTA for his work on "Springwatch."

In addition to his television and radio work, Chris Packham is also a published author. He has written several books on wildlife, including "Chris Packham's Back Garden Nature Reserve," "Fingers in the Sparkle Jar: A Memoir," and "A People's Manifesto for Wildlife." These books showcase his deep knowledge of nature and his passion for protecting it.

Packham has been a RSPCA Vice President since 2009 and it was announced that became RSPCA President in May 2023.[1]
