Nancy was a circus elephant who was part of Bostock & Wombwell’s Menagerie, a Victorian-era traveling show in the United Kingdom that imported exotic animals for entertainment and trained them to perform circus tricks. She died from yew leaf poisoning in 1891 and was allegedly buried near Kingswood, England.[1]
