Dog Meat (Consumption) (Offences) Bill
The Dog Meat (Consumption) (Offences) Bill was a Private Members’ Bill under the Ten Minute Rule, originated in the House of Commons, Session 2017-19.[1] It was introduced by Bill Wiggin, Conservative MP for North Herefordshire12. The purpose of the bill was to make it an offence to consume dog meat and to transport, possess or donate dog meat for the purpose of consumption.[2] However, the Bill failed to complete its passage through Parliament before the end of the session and made no further progress.[3]
