The Balule Nature Reserve is a wildlife reserve located in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. It forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park, one of Africa's most significant and iconic wildlife conservation areas. The reserve covers an area of approximately 400 square kilometers (154 square miles).

It is an open system reserve, meaning that there are no fences separating it from the adjacent Kruger National Park. Wildlife is free to roam across the entire Greater Kruger area, allowing for more natural movement and maintaining ecological processes.
