Cladistics

Cladistics is a way of classifying living things based on their evolutionary relationships. It uses shared characteristics, such as DNA sequences or anatomical features, to group organisms into clades. A clade is a group of organisms that share a common ancestor and all of its descendants. Cladistics can help us understand how life evolved and how different species are related to each other.
