Mara & Baby
Mara & Baby are female Asian elephants captive at Zoo Park, a roadside zoo in Slovakia.
Mara was captured from the wild (unknown location) in 1973 and transferred to a circus in Spain (Circo Aleman Berlin). Subsequently she was transferred to the Christian & Alex Gärtner Elephant Show (circus) in Croatia and then to Zoo Park in Slovakia.
Baby was born in July 1981 at Circus Quaiser in Germany to parent Bosco (father) and Benga (mother)[1] before being transferred to the Christian & Alex Gärtner Elephant Show (circus) in Croatia and then to Zoo Park in Slovakia.
