Sometime in August 1972, Japanese fishermen harpooned an Orca in Abashiri, Japan. It was immediately transported to Kamogawa Sea World. Three days later, it was sold to an unknown aquarium in Okhtsk.
Zero was thought to be a female orca. Her age was unknown. She was captured in Japan after being harpooned in August 1972. Zero was taken to Kamogawa Sea World. She was soon sold to an aquarium in Okhotsk and was transferred there. Zero did not recover and died after two weeks in September 1972. Official cause and date of death are unknown.
