The Free Morgan Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of orca whales held in captivity. The foundation was founded in 2010 by Dr. Ingrid Visser, a leading marine biologist and orca expert, in response to the plight of a young female orca named Morgan who was being held captive at a marine park in the Netherlands.

Morgan was discovered in 2010, emaciated and alone, in the Wadden Sea off the coast of the Netherlands. She was captured by the Dolfinarium Harderwijk, a marine park in the Netherlands, and was intended to be transferred to a Spanish marine park. Dr. Visser, along with a team of experts, examined Morgan and determined that she was a healthy juvenile orca that was fully capable of surviving in the wild.

The Free Morgan Foundation was created to fight for Morgan's release and to bring attention to the issues facing captive orcas around the world.
