This is a list of racehorse deaths in the Grand National, an annual steeplechase horse racing event held at Aintree Racecourse near Liverpool, UK. The Grand National is a National Hunt handicap race that is held over a distance of 4 miles and 3½ furlongs, and involves a large field of 40 horses jumping 30 high fences.
