History
On August 16, 1975, two young Orcas were captured in Pedder Bay, British Columbia; a male and female.
The female was later known as Nootka III and soon purchased by Sealand of the Pacific to be a potential male for the resident bull Haida. They seemed to get along well, despite being completely different eco-types.
Unfortunately, Nootka III died in May 1976 due to a Perforated Post-Pyloric Ulcer in the Gastrointestinal Tract.
