English: It is located in Suan Phrik sub-district, approximately 4 kilometresfrom the downtown district. In the past, thiskraal was used as a place for the captureof elephants performed in front of a royal pavilion “Elephant snaring”arranged by the elephant Brahman. A highly trained mahout would capture an elephant before a king for selection, mainly in accordance with elephant’s sacred characteristics to supplement merit to the king.

The village is also a place for elephant training demonstration, a learningcentre for new generations of mahouts, and a research laboratory for pollution and waste management produced by elephants (elephant waste and leftovers).
